WATCHDOG - a program in GEMLink that is designed to restart Windows95/98/NT if there is any interruption in the communication of data between the greenhouse and the host computer.  The Watchdog constantly monitors the status of communications, and if these should fail for any reason, a user-defined timer starts.  If this timer reaches zero, Watchdog will shutdown Windows in the proper manner, then restart and load GEMLink to get things operating normally again with no human intervention.

This WATCHDOG program provides a CRITICAL FAILSAFE function, and should NEVER be disabled.
